This is a very good phone and quite reliable although I was unable to change the AM/PM designation.
I have speakerphones all over the house and office; different brands as I have usually gotten what was cheapest. Easy controls including easy volume control, mute and hold.
I wish it were narrower, but I still prefer it because of its service and design. Some phones have handsets that fall off the cradle so easily that I'm constantly replacing the handset.
Also, the handset rests securely in the cradle. It's wide.
I like this phone. Now I need to replace an old phone; this is clearly my choice to use as the replacement.
This is a well designed phone.
A corded desk phone. And a set of 4 new AA batteries lasted only three days before expiring, making the phone worthless. It really should come with an AC power supply, but I don't understand why they can't run it off the power supplied in the phone line. It's an inexpensive phone, so the cheap feel to it is to be expected.I was surprised to see that it took batteries. It turns out that the phone simply doesn't work at all without the batteries.
Uniden has a great speaker phone but has a corded base, and a cordles handset. Too bad they don't just make a corded telephone as they would blow everyone else away. Stop producing Chinese garbage. AT&T needs WAKE UP CALL. You get feedback and unless your right on top of it,the other party cannot hear you-you fade in and out as prior reviewers have stated. This is a great phone however, the folks at AT&T haven't done their homework as the speaker-phone is really bad. I would take a Panasonic over AT&T,however the 1 line Panasonic does not have spekaer phone. What does it take to make something good.
Great corded phone with all the features I was looking for. Good value for my money.
